Reggianito is a superb, very hard, granular, parmesan-type cow's milk cheese imported from Argentina.
Created when Italian immigrants wished to make a cheese reminiscent of their native Parmigiano-Reggiano, Reggianito has a full rich flavor that can be used just like any other parmesan cheese type. The cheese is aged for 5 or 6 months and is produced in small wheels. Reggianito is great for cooking, grating, and as a table cheese.
